I live Upper West Side, New York. Today, I found a very relaxing place near my house.
Here you can find Lincoln Center, which is the base of New York Phil Harmony Orchestra, and buildings of Met Opera, New York City Ballet, Opera Performances and American Ballet Theater and Julliard Music Academy, which are all lined up in the same area.
I found it in there - Open to the Public Space. When I entered inside….. Wow, unbelievably high ceilings, and the walls were made up of green grass, leaves and plants, as if it were a carpet. A small fountain gives a very relaxing sound of falling water… with very nice classical music in the background…
Oh! There is a snack bar in the corner. Some people took their computers out and worked, and chat on Skype. Other people were talking business there.
This place is open until 10 pm, and you are able to purchase tickets for all the performances at Lincoln Center.
Amazing, amazing! that they built space like this. When I approached the gigantic wall and touched one of the leaves, ooooohhh! it was real. I could smell the nice scents of green. This would definitely be a place where I can relax.
This is an oasis in the NY city. (It is located on Broadway between 62nd & 63rd Street.)
